Full-Time Nanny needed in Manhattan, NY

Compensation: $40 to $50/hour depending on experience and qualifications, plus transportation reimbursement, health insurance stipend, paid vacation, sick days, major holidays off with pay, and extra pay if working on holidays.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4/5 PM (40–50 hours/week), plus later evenings for date nights, occasional holiday and weekend support. Overnight support for a few days during summers in the Hamptons, and occasional domestic and international travel with the family, as needed. 

Position Overview

A warm and welcoming family based in Manhattan, is seeking a full‑time, career nanny to care for their toddler child. The ideal candidate is highly experienced, developmentally savvy, energetic, nurturing, and committed to long‑term employment. This is a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned nanny who is looking to grow with a family for many years. The nanny will be responsible for all aspects of childcare, including daily routines, developmental engagement, meal preparation for the child, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. The family values a nanny who is warm, proactive, and confident in managing the needs of a toddler. Experience working in high‑profile homes in the city is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally supportive care for a toddler

• Plan age‑appropriate activities, play, and learning experiences

• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child

• Handle all child‑related housekeeping: tidying play areas, cleaning bottles/dishes, laundry, organizing clothing and supplies

• Maintain consistent routines and structure

• Communicate clearly with parents and support a collaborative, respectful household environment

• Occasionally stay later for date nights or assist on weekends when needed

Ideal Candidate:

• Fluent in English and an excellent communicator

• Experience in high‑profile households in Manhattan, NY

• Strong understanding of toddler development

• Highly reliable, flexible, and able to commit long‑term

• Comfortable with a fragrance‑free home

• Ability to work with hands-on parents and with strong organizational skills to manage all child‑related tasks independently

• Ability to swim is a major plus

• Must be comfortable with pets and dog friendly

Requirements

• 8+ years of full-time nanny experience

• With excellent and verifiable references

• Valid passport and ability to travel
