Compensation: Annual salary ranges from 100K to 150K, plus PTO, medical benefits, 401(k)
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days on including weekends and holidays required; 2 weekdays off, 2–3 overnights per week
Travel: Domestic travel required (Long Island in summer; occasional LA/Miami). Occasional international travel.
Position Overview
An UHNW New York family seeks an experienced Nanny/Housekeeper to support childcare during the main nanny’s days off and assist with household upkeep. This role requires flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to work within a fully staffed home.
Key Responsibilities
• Care for preschool aged children during the main nanny’s off days
• Oversee meals, homework, playdates, and routines
• Maintain children’s laundry and organized living spaces
• Communicate any concerns directly to the principals
• Assist with daily cleaning, dishes, trash, and general tidiness
• Maintain organized bedrooms, bathrooms, closets, and storage areas
• Run small errands as needed
• Prepare simple meals when required
Ideal Candidate
• Strong knowledge of cleaning products, fine furnishings, and garment care
• Ability to prepare simple meals
• Strong English communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to maintain a professional, discreet work environment
• Ability to follow all household protocols, safety procedures, and emergency guidelines
Requirements
• 5+ years in a UHNW or high-profile household
• Strong, verifiable long-term references
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willing to undergo an extensive background check
