Schedule: Monday–Friday: 11:00 AM – 5:30/7:30 PM Occasional overtime as needed Long‑term, full‑time role


Travel: Minimal travel required, accompany the family for several weeks in the Hamptons during summer

A private family in Uptown New York City is seeking an experienced, highly professional Private Chef with formal culinary training and a strong background in private household service. The ideal candidate is NYC‑based, demonstrates long‑term stability in previous roles, and brings a refined, health‑forward culinary philosophy grounded in wellness, longevity, and whole‑ingredient cooking. This is a highly selective search requiring exceptional professionalism, discretion, and verifiable references.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily dinner for the family

  • Create healthy after‑school snacks for the children

  • Prepare make‑ahead breakfasts

  • Packable lunches for adults to take to work

  • Maintain a clean, organized, efficient kitchen

  • Manage grocery shopping, inventory, and sourcing of premium ingredients

  • Collaborate with the household team and maintain discretion at all times

Requirements

  • Must currently reside in the New York City area

  • Prior experience as a Private Chef in a private household

  • 5+ years of experience working for UHNW or high-profile household

  • Strong, verifiable long-term references

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Willing to undergo an extensive background check
