Role Overview

A private UHNW household in Uptown Manhattan is seeking a mid‑level Hybrid Butler/Personal Assistant to support both administrative lifestyle needs and hands‑on household hospitality. This role blends desk‑based PA work with elevated service, requiring strong organization, stamina, and the ability to travel regularly. Candidates must be trustworthy, discreet, and committed to long‑term private service.


Key Responsibilities

Personal Assistant Duties

  • Manage calendars, appointments, reservations, and daily scheduling

  • Handle personal errands, gifting, and vendor coordination

  • Support the Director of Operations and collaborate with household staff

Butler & Hospitality Service

  • Assist with daily meal service, table settings, beverage stations, and small events

  • Greet principals and guests; manage coats, luggage, and property readiness

  • Provide wardrobe support: steaming, pressing, organizing, and seasonal transitions

Travel Support

  • Prepare itineraries, travel documents, and packing lists

  • Expert packing/unpacking and destination setup

  • Maintain confidentiality and security while traveling


Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Butler, Valet and Personal Assistant

  • Experience in luxury hospitality, lifestyle management, or UHNW private service

  • Strong administrative skills (Google Workspace, MS Office, scheduling apps)

  • Knowledge of formal service standards and wardrobe care

  • High discretion, loyalty, and long‑term career mindset

  • Physically fit with stamina for long hours and changing environments

  • Valid U.S. passport; comfortable with global travel

  • Excellent communication skills; multilingual a plus

  • Service‑first attitude with humility, tact, and professionalism


Requirements

  • Must currently reside in the New York City area

  • Strong, verifiable long-term references required before client submission

  • 5+ years of experience working for UHNW or high-profile household

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Willing to undergo an extensive background check
