Overnight Caregiver/Companion needed in Weston, CT

Compensation: $35–$40 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 PM – 9:00 AM (start time may vary by 1 hour)

A private family in Weston, CT is seeking a compassionate and dependable Overnight Caregiver / Companion for a pleasant elderly gentleman who remains largely independent. He is in good physical health, feeds and showers himself, and continues to work full time. His memory is generally intact, though he is showing early signs of dementia/early-onset Alzheimer’s. The family is looking for someone attentive, calm, and reassuring to provide overnight presence and support.This is a wonderful opportunity for a caregiver who enjoys meaningful one-on-one companionship and providing steady overnight support in a respectful private home environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overnight supervision and ensure safety

• Offer companionship and gentle cognitive support

• Assist with toileting or mobility if needed during the night

• Monitor for any changes in behavior or condition

• Light meal/snack assistance if requested

• Light tidying related to evening care

• Communicate updates to family as needed

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience with seniors, dementia, or memory care

• Excellent verifiable references

• Calm, patient, and observant personality

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred

• Reliable and punctual

• Comfortable working overnight shifts
