Nanny needed in Upper Manhattan, NY

Compensation: $40–$45 per hour plus paid time off

Schedule: Monday–Thursday or Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:30 PM (depending on family needs)

Hours: Guaranteed 40–45 hours per week

Housing: Live-Out during the school year; Live-In during summers in the Hamptons

Position Overview

A busy and active family on the Upper East Side is seeking an experienced Full-Time Nanny to join their household team. The family has three young children (ages from 1–5), and while Mom is hands-on, the nanny will take the lead on all childcare needs. The ideal candidate is warm, energetic, organized, and highly experienced in caring for multiple children at once. This role requires a collaborative mindset, flexibility, and a genuine love for supporting young children’s growth and development.

During the summer months, the nanny will live in Monday–Friday in the Hamptons and travel with the family as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for all three children

• Manage all childcare-related duties, including:

• Children’s laundry

• Tidying and organizing play areas and children’s spaces

• Preparing and cooking simple, healthy meals for the children

• Support daily routines, activities, and outings

• Work collaboratively with a hands-on mom and communicate clearly throughout the day

• Travel with the family and adapt to schedule changes as needed

• Live in during the summer months in the Hamptons

Requirements:

• Local to New York City

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional nanny experience

• Recent experience caring for three children simultaneously

• Verifiable references demonstrating long-term roles and consistent employment

• Ability to live in during the summer in the Hamptons

• Comfortable working alongside a hands-on mom

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

• Comfortable collaborating with other household staff
