Nanny needed in Upper East End Manhattan, NY

Compensation: $35 per hour + 2 weeks paid vacation

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11/12pm–8pm, with flexibility to stay until 11pm twice per week

Hamptons (Live-in Monday–Friday during summer or as needed)

Travel: Must be able to travel domestically with the family

Position Overview

A warm and welcoming family is seeking a full-time nanny to care primarily for their two younger children (ages 2 and 6), while offering occasional support to their independent 8‑year‑old. The ideal candidate is energetic, creative, and deeply attuned to children’s emotional and developmental needs. This role requires a team-oriented professional who can balance childcare with light household support and adapt to the family’s dynamic schedule.

During the summer and select periods, the nanny will be required to live in Monday–Friday in the Hamptons.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, developmentally and age appropriate care

• Engage the children in imaginative play, learning activities, and outdoor time

• Support the older child as needed, while respecting their growing independence

• Prepare simple, child-friendly meals and snacks

• Perform light housekeeping related to the children (tidying play areas, children’s laundry, dishes, etc.)

• Assist with daily routines including naps, bath time, and bedtime when needed

• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment

• Collaborate with parents and household staff to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience caring for multiple young children

• Strong references from previous roles

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Comfortable going through an extensive background check
