A very private family in Travis County, Texas is in search of a highly qualified and experienced Governess/Private Teacher to provide personalized instruction and developmental support for their young children in primary school. This is a unique opportunity for an educator who thrives in a fully staffed, high-standard household and understands the discretion and professionalism required in a highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement a customized curriculum tailored to the children’s developmental stage and learning style
• Foster a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment that promotes curiosity and growth
• Collaborate closely with household staff and parents to ensure consistency in routines and educational goals
• Integrate play-based learning, creative exploration, and foundational academic skills
• Maintain detailed progress reports and communicate regularly with the family regarding milestones and achievements
• Support social development through guided interactions and age-appropriate activities
• Travel with the family as needed, maintaining continuity of education and routine

Requirements
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Education
• Background and knowledge in Early Childhood Education, RIE, Montessori or similar philosophy
• Speaks perfect English and strong communication skills in writing and verbal
• Prior experience as a governess and homeschooling is a must
• Experience working in UHNW households with discretion and professionalism with excellent recommendations
• Comfortable working alongside other educators and staff
• Strong ability to collaborate within a fully staffed home environment
• Willingness to undergo an extensive background check
