Nanny / Infant Care Specialist needed in Cliffside Park, NJ

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation: $35–$40 per hour (flexible based on experience) + paid time off

Position Overview

A warm and welcoming family in Cliffside Park is seeking an experienced, proactive Nanny / Infant Care Specialist to care for their 4‑month‑old baby. This long‑term role is ideal for someone deeply knowledgeable about infant development, confident in guiding new parents, and excited to help establish healthy routines. Dad travels frequently, and Mom has a relaxed, easygoing personality, making this a wonderful environment for a nanny who values teamwork, communication, and a supportive partnership with parents.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide loving, attentive, developmentally appropriate care for a 4‑month‑old infant

• Support bottle transitions and feeding routines

• Prepare fresh baby food as developmentally appropriate (experience preferred)

• Maintain age‑appropriate schedules for naps, feedings, and play

• Engage the baby in stimulating, enriching activities

• Handle all baby‑related tasks, including:

• Bottle preparation and cleaning

• Baby laundry

• Tidying and organizing baby areas

• Communicate openly with parents about routines, milestones, and daily updates

• Educate and support new parents on best practices for feeding, sleep, and development

• Assist with occasional travel as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience working with infants, especially with feeding transitions

• Proactive, reliable, and collaborative team player

• Comfortable in a home with a small dog

• Valid driver’s license and confident driving skills

• Willingness to guide and support new parents with a warm, educational approach

• Flexible and adaptable, especially when Mom is home and sharing care

• Long‑term mindset and commitment to consistency
