Compensation

• 150K-180K depending on experience plus benefits package

Schedule

• 6 days per week, Live-in, Full flexibility required

• Must be flexible for domestic and international travel

Overview

A fully staffed, warm, kind and supportive household in Great Neck, NY is seeking an energetic, compassionate Nanny/Companion to assist a young adult man with autism. The home centers on ensuring his comfort, safety, and wellbeing at home and during travel. Looking for someone who is able to integrate smoothly into a team‑oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, supervision, and positive daily engagement

• Support routines, structure, and skill‑building

• Assist with light tasks related to his care (organization, simple meal prep, etc.)

• Accompany him during outings, appointments, and recreational activities

• Travel with the family domestically and internationally, staying with and supervising him when parents are away

• Maintain clear communication with parents and household staff

• Foster a calm, patient, and encouraging environment

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience caring for a young adult with autism

• Fluent in English with strong communication skills

• Excellent, verifiable references

• U.S. passport for European travel

• Willing to undergo a comprehensive background check
