Compensation: $40/hour + PTO, Holidays & Additional Benefits
Schedule: Guaranteed 20 hours/week
Flexible weekend shifts:
10 AM–6/7 PM or 8 AM–5/6 PM
Additional overnight flexibility required and when parents travel
Long‑term commitment strongly preferred
Travel: Required (Summer travel to Westchester + occasional overnights)
Role Overview
A private NYC family is seeking an experienced, warm, and energetic Weekend Nanny to support two young children. This role guarantees 20 hours per week and requires flexibility for weekend scheduling, occasional overnights, and summer travel to the family’s second home in Westchester. The family is hands‑on and looking for a true team player who can provide an extra set of hands on weekends.
This is not a housekeeping role. Light household support is included, but the family employs a full‑time housekeeper.
Key Responsibilities
Engaging, attentive childcare for two young children (toddler + baby)
Assist with daily routines, meals, outings, and activities
Light household support: tidying, errands, shopping, organizing laundry, making beds
Work collaboratively with parents and household staff
Travel with the family as needed
Stay with children and household staff when parents travel without them
Comfortable caring for both children as the role progresses (NCS present early on)
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 5 years professional childcare experience
NYC‑based candidates preferred
Experienced with toddlers, babies, and multiples
Fun, active, engaging, organized, and reliable
Comfortable around dogs (no pet care required)
Flexible, team‑oriented, and committed long‑term
Excellent long-term references
Valid authorization to work in the US
Willing to complete a comprehensive background check
