Live-in/Live-out Nanny needed in Downtown Manhattan, NYC ASAP

Compensation: Competitive salary ranging from $90,000–$105,000, based on experience and references, PTO, 50% contribution towards a monthly health plan selected by the nanny.

Accommodation is only provided for the days the nanny is working. The family has another nanny that works the weekends.

Schedule: Monday mornings through Thursday evenings, including bedtime routines.

Live-In and Live-Out: live-in until end of Summer and becomes live-out 7 AM to 7 PM schedule until the baby nurse leaves. Might include some holidays and occasional weekends and minimal domestic and international travel.

A wonderful family in Downtown Manhattan is seeking an experienced, proactive nanny to care for their toddler. With a second child arriving in the coming weeks, the family hopes to have the ideal candidate in place ASAP. They are seeking a professional who is warm, intuitive, and reliable—someone who will feel like part of the family.

The ideal candidate should be fluent in English, warm, dependable, and experienced with children under three. They should bring a thoughtful, developmentally supportive approach to daily routines and have the stamina to keep up with an active child.

The nanny’s primary focus will be on providing attentive, engaging care to their energetic toddler. A baby nurse will be joining the household to care for the newborn for one year, ensuring the nanny's role remains centered on the toddler through the end of the year.

Duties are all children related, primary focus on the toddler, including light meal preparation with simple, nutritious foods. Engaging the child through play, conversation, and gentle structure while supporting a consistent routine.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience as a nanny with toddlers

• With verifiable and excellent recommendations

• Local to NYC or with reasonable commute

• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)

• Must be eligible to work in the US and able to travel

• Comfortable going through an extensive background check
