Full-Time Professional Housekeeper needed in Bay Area, CA (Live-Out)

Compensation: $40–$60 per hour + Full benefits package available depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40+ hours per week, flexibility for special events and travel required

A private household in the Bay Area is seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and experienced Housekeeper for a full-time, live-out position. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the home. The ideal candidate is proactive, discreet, and takes pride in delivering high standards of service. Prior experience in high-level private residences is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily deep cleaning and upkeep of all household areas

• Launder, iron, and care for delicate fabrics and garments

• Organize closets, pantries, and storage spaces

• Maintain inventory of household supplies and restock as needed

• Coordinate with vendors and service providers (e.g., cleaners, repair technicians)

• Assist with meal prep or kitchen clean-up as needed

• Ensure household standards are consistently met and exceeded

• Handle special projects such as seasonal cleaning or event preparation

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Professional demeanor and discretion

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in private homes

• Excellent references from prior employers

• Must be local to the Bay Area

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Comfortable going through an extensive background check
