Position Overview

A lovely family in Omaha is seeking an experienced Nanny to care for their two school‑age children. The family is looking for a professional, warm, and engaging nanny who can provide structure, educational support, and enriching activities while becoming a valued long‑term member of the household.


The ideal candidate has a strong educational background, excellent childcare experience, and a genuine passion for working with children. A UK or New Zealand‑trained Nanny is strongly preferred - Norland, Chiltern, NCFE CACHE Diploma, New Zealand Certificate in Earl Childhood Education.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, age‑appropriate care for two school‑age children

  • Plan engaging educational, recreational, and outdoor activities

  • Support routines, schedules, and positive behavior development

  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children

  • Assist with schoolwork and educational enrichment as needed

  • Coordinate activities, outings, and weekend plans

  • Maintain children's areas, belongings, and organization

  • Work collaboratively with parents to support household routines


Qualifications

  • Professional nanny experience with school‑age children

  • UK or New Zealand Nanny training preferred

  • Strong educational background

  • U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States

  • Warm, professional, and engaging personality

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Long‑term mindset and stable employment history

  • Comfortable relocating to Omaha if not currently local


Requirements

  • 5+ years of long-term full-time nanny experience

  • Excellent long-term references

  • Valid passport and ability to travel

  • Willing to complete a comprehensive background check
