Compensation: $150,000 a year, plus PTO, full medical benefits, 401(k)
Schedule: Friday 7am to Wednesday 7am • 24 hour clock• 5 Overnights
Children: Ages between newborn to 6 years old
Environment: Fully staffed home, Hands‑on mother + team of nannies
Position Overview
A private family in Upper Manhattan is seeking a mid‑career, motherly, highly energetic, developmentally savvy Nanny to join a collaborative childcare team. This role supports a very hands‑on mother and works alongside multiple nannies to provide exceptional care for five young children. Candidates must genuinely love children, thrive in a fast‑paced household, and be comfortable with all childcare‑related responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide attentive, engaging, developmentally appropriate care for five children (infant through age 5)
Support daily routines, meals, naps, baths, bedtime, and transitions
Collaborate closely with a hands‑on mother and a team of nannies
Create enriching, age‑appropriate activities and learning opportunities
Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
Assist with child‑related organization, tidying, and resetting spaces
Handle all childcare responsibilities with professionalism and energy
Participate in outings, playdates, and activities
Provide overnight care on Wednesday and Thursday
Maintain communication and teamwork with the childcare team
Ideal Candidate
Mid‑career with strong professional nanny experience
Highly energetic, active, and able to keep pace with multiple young children
Developmentally knowledgeable across infant, toddler, and preschool stages
Genuinely loves children and thrives in a child‑focused role
Experienced with multiples and fast‑moving households
Engaging, warm, playful, and confident
Strong communicator and natural team player

Comfortable working under a hands‑on parent
Requirements
5+ years of long-term full-time nanny experience
Excellent long-term references
Valid passport and ability to travel
Willing to complete a comprehensive background check
