Compensation
$40–$50 per hour (W‑2), depending on experience
Overtime paid after 40 hours
A returning client in East Hampton to hire an experienced Summer Housekeeper for the summer season. This is a live‑out position, and local candidates with reliable transportation are required. The position is within a formal, fully staffed household, working as part of a housekeeping team and reporting directly to the Lead Housekeeper. This is a back‑of‑house role focused on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization, completing daily tasks and checklists, and supporting the team to ensure smooth household operations.
Schedule
Summer Season
Mid‑May through mid‑September
5 days on, 2 weekdays off
40–50 hours per week
Weekend availability required
Responsibilities
Detailed daily and deep cleaning
Completing assigned checklists and tasks
Supporting the housekeeping team as needed
Maintaining organization and presentation standards in a formal home
Ideal Candidate:
Prior experience working in a formal private household
Experience working as part of a housekeeping team
Strong communication skills
Professional, reliable, and detail‑oriented
Verifiable references required
Must be local to the East Hampton area
Must have reliable transportation
Must be available to work weekends throughout the season
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting a high‑profile or UHNW employer with consistent five‑star service
• Excellent long‑term references
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check
