Compensation: $35/hour (paid via payroll) plus health insurance stipend, 2 weeks paid vacation days, and travel opportunities.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12 PM–8 PM
Flexibility required for occasional travel (including up to 2 weeks internationally).

A growing family is seeking a warm, experienced, and reliable Mother's Helper/Nanny fluent in French to provide dedicated care for their toddler and infant. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, language-rich environment while supporting the family's daily routines. Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate activities is preferred. The nanny should be patient, attentive, and nurturing, with a basic understanding of infant and toddler safety, first aid, and CPR. The nanny will offer gentle guidance to support the toddler’s growing independence and work collaboratively with parents to maintain a warm and structured environment.
Duties:
The role includes providing attentive, loving care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities include supporting daily routines such as feeding, diaper changes, naps, and playtime.
The nanny will engage the children in age-appropriate, stimulating activities, incorporating French language exposure through songs, stories, and conversation.
Early developmental milestones will be encouraged through interactive play and sensory experiences.
Additional tasks include assisting with meal preparation, introducing healthy foods, and managing feeding schedules.
Light household tasks related to childcare will be expected, such as tidying play areas, cleaning bottles, and organizing children's belongings.
Requirements:
Must have at least 5 years of long-term experience working with infant and toddler children
Verifiable references and stellar recommendations
Flexibility and ability to travel domestically and internationally
Must be local to NYC and have experience working in NYC
Must be fluent in French and good English communication skills, both verbal and written
Highly energetic, health and safety conscious and very active
