Compensation: $1750 per week plus benefits
Schedule: live-in from Monday 7am to Friday 7pm, plus occasional Saturdays.
Location: New York, NY and Hamptons in the Summer, plus occasional domestic travels
Busy working parents in Upper Manhattan, NY is looking for a warm, caring, developmentally savvy, and reliable long-term live-in nanny to help them care for their adorable and active toddler. Ideal nanny is someone with a happy disposition, self-motivated, has initiative and flexible to the family’s needs. Team player and can follow directions.
Someone comfortable around pets. Family has a hypoallergenic dog but does not require pet care.
Duties are primarily caring for the child, providing a safe, educational, and happy environment, coordinating playdates and activities for the child, and all child related responsibilities such as organizing and tidying up all child areas and things, doing child’s laundry and preparing meals, plus some light housekeeping if/when time permitting. They have a part-time housekeeper that comes to do all the deep cleaning.
REQUIREMENTS:
Have at least 5 years’ experience caring for infants and toddlers.
With verifiable references and stellar recommendations
Be local to NYC and with reasonable commute.
Be legal to work in the US.
Respectful of boundaries and privacy
Comfortable working with a work from home parent
Active and capable of caring for multiple children when needed.
Someone who knows how to drive, and swim is a huge plus!
