Compensation: $100,000+/year, DOE

Certification Required: Florida State Certified Teacher

Schedule: Monday–Friday, ~9 AM–3 PM + Domestic & international, especially summers


A wonderful Miami Beach family seeking an experienced, creative Homeschool Teacher / Governess for their bright and imaginative third‑grade child. The family is looking for an educator who can deliver a dynamic, enriched learning experience that goes far beyond standard homeschool curriculum.


This role is ideal for a teacher who is tech‑savvy, innovative, upbeat, and able to incorporate real‑world learning, technology, AI, hands‑on projects, and experiential education into each school day. You will work closely with a very involved, hands‑on mom and should be comfortable collaborating while still taking initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a customized, advanced third‑grade curriculum

  • Incorporate technology, AI tools, creative projects, and real‑world learning

  • Create engaging lessons that support curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity

  • Plan hands‑on activities, field trips, and experiential learning opportunities

  • Track academic progress and adjust curriculum as needed

  • Maintain a structured yet inspiring daily routine

  • Collaborate closely with a hands‑on parent

  • Travel with the family domestically and internationally, especially during summer months


Requirements

  • Florida State Certified Teacher

  • Prior homeschool teaching experience is REQUIRED

  • Strong experience developing curriculum at the third‑grade level and beyond

  • Local to Miami; Miami Beach preferred

  • Creative, energetic, organized, and tech‑savvy

  • Comfortable integrating technology and AI into daily learning

  • Stellar references from prior employments

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Comfortable going through a comprehensive background check
