Compensation: 130-160K annually ($35-$40 per hour, plus OT and overnight rate), full medical benefits, PTO, and 401K
Schedule: Live-in, 5 days with 4-5 overnights, including some weekends, holidays, and travel. Full flexibility in schedule is required.
New York based private family seeks a hard-working, responsible, and trustworthy live-in housekeeper with at least 5
years or more of experience working with an UHNW family. The successful candidate will have, among other characteristics,
excellent cleanliness standards, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The Housekeeper will report to, and work closely with the Leadership Team as well as directly with the Principals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily cleaning, dusting, mopping, polishing, and washing.
Laundry and ironing and/or sending out dry cleaning.
Some light cooking and serving.
Running errands.
Receiving packages and maintaining a delivery log.
Greeting family and guests upon arrival.
Occasionally assisting with childcare for two pre-school age children.
Performing other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have at least 5 years of experience working as a housekeeper for a high-profile employer always ensuring 5-star service.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of cleaning products and their application/use on museum quality furniture and various surfaces.
Knowledge of caring for fine garments: handwashing, ironing, stain removal and steam-pressing.
Able to prepare simple meals.
Planning and organizational skills for closets, cabinets, and other storage spaces.
