Live-in Domestic Couple needed in Downtown Manhattan, NY ASAP

Compensation:

  • 180K plus paid time off and additional benefits to be discussed

  • Private accommodations provided (open to live-in 7 days)


Schedule : 5 days, Live-in (including weekends)

Location: Manhattan, NY & Hamptons, NY


Overview: A welcoming and down-to-earth family is seeking a dedicated, experienced domestic couple to manage the upkeep and daily operations of their 10,000 sq ft, five-story townhouse in Manhattan and their home in the Hamptons. The ideal candidates will be a professional, service-oriented couple who work well together, anticipate needs, and bring warmth and efficiency to household management.


Responsibilities:

Household Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of both properties

  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and household staff as needed

  • Manage household inventories and supplies

Housekeeping & Laundry:

  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization throughout both homes

  • Launder and care for delicate clothing, linens, and furnishings

  • Seasonal wardrobe management and packing/unpacking assistance

Cooking & Meal Preparation:

  • Prepare healthy, delicious meals for the family and occasional guests

  • Grocery shopping and pantry organization

  • Table setting and occasional meal service

Driving & Errands:

  • Provide transportation to family members as needed

  • Run errands, including shopping and deliveries

  • Maintain and oversee household vehicles

Property Maintenance:

  • Light handyman duties, minor repairs, and home organization

  • Seasonal maintenance and oversight of outdoor spaces

  • Supervise landscape maintenance and pool service

Guest & Event Support:

  • Assist with entertaining and hosting guests

  • Prepare the home for visitors and special occasions

  • Coordinate travel logistics when family transitions between homes


Requirements:

  • Previous long-term experience in a private household preferred

  • Strong housekeeping, cooking, and home management skills

  • Must be trustworthy, discreet, and professional

  • Ability to travel between Manhattan and the Hamptons as needed

  • Valid driver’s license (at least one partner must be a driver)

  • Fluent English; additional languages a plus

  • A warm, positive attitude with excellent communication skills
