Schedule: 5 days, live-in plus domestic travel. Must be flexible! Separate 7 days living accommodation in the staff house, inside the property, available to relocation candidates.
A formal household in Alpine NJ is in search of a capable, reliable and compassionate Caregiver/Houseman/Driver to take care of an elderly gentleman that requires medical and mobility assistance. Need someone who is experienced, self-motivated and proactive, can work independently and has initiative. Someone who can anticipate the needs of the principal, a team player and able to provide assistance to other staff when needed.
Duties and responsibilities include assisting the principal in everything he needs, monitoring and reporting his condition to the wife and doctors/nurses, driving him to his and/or his wife’s engagements and appointments, serving and preparing meals according to his diet, and when time permits; cleaning and assisting other staff with household chores, setting up outdoor seating, taking out the garbage, and running errands.
REQUIREMENTS: • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role and setting • Must have long term, stellar and verifiable references • Must be a Certified Caregiver (LPN, CNA, HHA)
• Must be able to live in the property full time - solo occupant only • Must drive and with clean record • Must willing to undergo an thorough background check
