Junior Level Houseman needed in North Beach, Miami FL

Compensation: $35/hour, plus OT, full benefits, and 401(k)

Schedule: live-out 5 days on, 2 consecutive days off, typically 8am–5pm, + additional hours when family is in residence

Position Overview

A fully staffed New York–based family is seeking a reliable Junior Houseman to support their North Beach, Miami residence. The family frequently travels to Florida with other staff, and the Junior Houseman will assist with property upkeep, daily operations, and increased activity when the family is in residence. This is a hands‑on role suited for someone energetic, service‑oriented, and eager to learn from senior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general interior and exterior upkeep of the Miami residence

• Support basic maintenance tasks and report issues to senior staff

• Clean and maintain outdoor areas, patios, walkways, and furniture

• Perform light handyman tasks as directed

• Assist with vendor access, deliveries, and household errands

• Maintain organized storage areas and supplies

• Provide additional support during family visits, travel periods, and busy seasons

• Follow all household protocols and maintain strict discretion

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in a private home or luxury hospitality environment preferred

• Basic technical or mechanical aptitude (simple repairs, AV basics, filters, etc.)

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn

• Ability to follow direction and work well within a team

• Professional demeanor and service‑focused attitude

• Flexibility with schedule when the family is in residence

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working for UHNW or high-profile household as a Lead Housekeeper

• Strong, verifiable long-term references

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Willing to undergo an extensive background check
