Executive Housekeeper needed in Surfside, FL

Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour plus full benefits, 401K etc.


Schedule: Live-out Five days, minimum of 40 - 50 hours per week. Full flexibility in schedule is required.

Private family seeks a hard-working, responsible, and trustworthy housekeeper experience working with an UHNW family. The successful candidate will have, among other characteristics, excellent cleanliness standards, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Attention to detail, prioritization, and time management skills are important as are flexibility, honesty, reliability. The Housekeeper will report to, and work closely with the Leadership Team as well as directly with the Principals.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily cleaning, dusting, mopping, polishing, and washing.

  • Laundry and ironing and/or sending out dry cleaning.

  • Some light cooking and serving.

  • Driving and running errands.

  • Receiving packages and maintaining a delivery log.

  • Greeting family and guests upon arrival.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience working as a housekeeper for a high-profile employer always ensuring 5-star service.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of cleaning products and their application/use on museum quality furniture and various surfaces.

  • Knowledge of caring for fine garments: handwashing, ironing, stain removal and steam-pressing.

  • Able to prepare simple meals.

  • Planning and organizational skills for closets, cabinets, and other storage spaces.

  • Ambitious and hard-working; goes the extra mile.

  • Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach.

  • Meticulous attention to detail.

  • Able to balance and accommodate shifting priorities in schedules, demands and requirements.

  • Trustworthy and discrete, specifically as relates to confidential business and family information.

  • Exhibits positive attitude. Reliable team player with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Given regular daily interaction with staff and others, highly personable, diplomatic, respectful, cooperative, adaptable, and poised.
