Compensation: $35-45 per hour plus benefits
Schedule: DURING SUMMER: 6 days a week, 8 -12 hours a day OFF SEASON: 5 days, 8 hours a day
A lovely estate in the Hamptons is in search for a capable, meticulous, experienced Housekeeper to join their staff in taking care of a very fine home. The family entertains a lot in the Summer and needs someone who has experience in caring for their guests and their needs. Home runs and kept like a hotel and must always be guest ready.
Duties will include: Deep cleaning, maintenance and organizing, household management and provisioning, food and beverage service when entertaining, laundry and wardrobe care, running errands and pet care, as needed.
Job Requirements: • 5+ years working in a formal, fully staffed home (Luxury hotel background a plus) • Keen aesthetic sense and familiarity with museum quality furnishings (and the care of them). • Must be local, drive and with a reliable car to get to work. • Great communication skills with excellent competency in English, both written and spoken. • Should be comfortable with computers as well as smartphone technology. • Fully flexible schedule with nights, weekends, and holidays available as needed. • Hands on and Team player- no job too small attitude.
