Position Overview

We are partnering with a university‑affiliated private residence in Savannah, GA to hire a highly skilled Lead Housekeeper. This is a full‑time, live‑out position for a polished, hands‑on professional who takes pride in maintaining a beautifully appointed home. The residence features fine furnishings, antiques, and artwork, requiring someone with exceptional attention to detail and experience caring for high‑end interiors. The principal travels frequently, so the ideal candidate is proactive, trustworthy, and capable of managing the home’s cleanliness and organization with minimal oversight. This role also involves light household management and collaboration with a small, dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed housekeeping and care of fine interiors, antiques, and delicate surfaces

• Prepare healthy meals; cooking is essential

• Provide occasional support for light entertaining

• Run errands, grocery shop, and assist with household management tasks

• Maintain household organization and cleanliness standards

• Work collaboratively with a small household team

• Provide care and comfort around a small dog

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with demonstrated longevity in previous roles

• Experience working in formal or private homes

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a pristine environment
