Junior Level Housekeepers needed in Great Neck - Long Island, NY

Compensation: $35 per hour, plus OT, PTO, medical benefits, 401K etc.

Schedule: Full-Time,5 days, with some overnights, Weekends Required (Approximately. 8am-8pm).

Live-in accommodation for days of work is available if needed.

New York based private family seeks a hard-working, responsible, and trustworthy Live-in/Live-out Housekeeper

with experience working with an UHNW family. The successful candidate will have,

among other characteristics, excellent cleanliness standards, organizational skills, and the ability to work

independently. Attention to detail, prioritization, and time management skills are important as are flexibility,

honesty, reliability.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high level of organization throughout the household, including closets, storage areas,

cleaning supplies, ensuring systems are in place for efficient and ease of use

• Daily cleaning of all rooms, dusting, mopping, polishing, and washing.

• Laundry and ironing and/or sending out dry cleaning.

• Organizing children’s rooms, play areas and household spaces

• Restocking household supplies and notifying family of low inventory

• Some light cooking and serving.

• Receiving packages and maintaining a delivery log.

• Answering the house phone.

• Greeting family and guests upon arrival.

• Provide daily care for family puppy, including walking, feeding and refreshing water

• Support family routine, as needed.

• Performing other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have at least 5 years of experience working as a housekeeper for a high-profile employer always

ensuring 5-star service.

• Comfortable working in a private home environment with children present

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of cleaning products and their application/use on museum quality furniture and various

surfaces.

• Knowledge of caring for fine garments: handwashing, ironing, stain removal and steam-pressing.

• Able to prepare simple meals.

• Planning and organizational skills for closets, cabinets, and other storage spaces.
