Schedule: Full-time, live-out, five days per week with two weekdays off; flexibility for overtime and schedule changes

Compensation: $40–45 (maybe more), depending on experience and qualifications + OT, PTO, medical benefits, 401(k)

Position Overview

A high-end household is seeking an experienced Facilities Professional/Houseman professional to support the daily maintenance, operations, and overall functionality of a large residence. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent organization, and the ability to work closely with the Estate/House Manager. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a well-run property.


Key Responsibilities

•     General interior and exterior upkeep, including cleaning, minor repairs, and identifying maintenance needs

•     Daily walkthroughs and coordination with the Estate/House Manager; completion of tasks via Trello system

•     Basic troubleshooting of household systems (BMS, HVAC, AV, security, pools/fountains) and coordination with vendors

•     Grounds care: light irrigation repairs, seasonal tasks, power washing, pool/fountain upkeep, leaf blowing, and outdoor furniture management

•     Minor painting and carpentry touch-ups

•     Vehicle care: maintain cleanliness, fuel levels, and battery chargers

•     Assist with pet care, errands, driving, event support, and stocking household supplies

•     Manage deliveries, oversee vendors, and follow household security protocols

•     Maintain inventory of spare parts and coordinate ordering


Requirements

•     Minimum 5 years of experience supporting a high‑profile or UHNW employer with consistent five‑star service

•     Excellent, verifiable references from all prior employers

•     Authorized to work in the U.S.

•     Comfortable with an extensive background check

•     Strong mechanical/technical skills and familiarity with residential systems

•     Highly organized, discreet, flexible, and service-oriented

• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check
