Compensation:

• 130K annual salary plus extra pay for large parties and events

Schedule

• Full‑time, 5 days per week

• Typically Monday to Friday, 12:30 to 8:30pm

• Must be flexible for: Late evenings when entertaining, Holidays and Weekends

• Travel to other properties in the Hamptons and Miami, FL

A warm, fully staffed household in Great Neck, NY is seeking a talented, adaptable, and kind Private Family Chef to prepare daily meals and support the family’s culinary needs. The home centers on the comfort and wellbeing of a young adult man with moderately functional autism, and the ideal chef will fit naturally into a respectful, team‑oriented environment. This is a hands‑on role for someone who is flexible, organized, and able to create delicious meals in both casual and formal settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals for the family, including: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (prepared fresh or to be warmed later)

• Create menus that reflect the family’s preferences, dietary needs, and seasonal ingredients

• Cook for formal dinners, events, and parties as needed

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen

• Manage pantry inventory, grocery shopping, and ordering supplies

• Collaborate respectfully with household staff and integrate smoothly into the home’s rhythm

• Travel to additional family properties (Hamptons, Miami, international) when required

• Drive for errands, shopping for provisions, and travel support

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role

• Fluent in English with strong communication skills
