Compensation: $20 -25 per hour, plus metro card, 2 weeks paid vacation
Schedule options for 6 day coverage: ONE NANNY Full Time: 6 days, Sunday to Friday, 7am-7pm
OR TWO NANNIES: Full Time: Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm + Part Time 1 weekend day : Sundays ----- Every other week (6 days) Sunday to Friday, 7am to 7pm
Plus travel to Asia and within the country on occasions Live-in candidates are welcome to apply but room is shared with the child
Working parents in Upper East Side with very demanding schedule are looking for a seasoned, family oriented, warm, loving and nurturing nanny to take care of their precious first child (infant) and grow with their family. Family is surrounded by loving family members (grandparents and siblings) that come/stay with them for periods of time.
Nanny must be developmentally savvy, has a natural affinity to children, strong maternal instinct, safety conscious and have great understanding of the value of family and instilling the parents’ culture to the child – discipline, respect and love of family, religion, cleanliness, good presentation and hygiene, independence, humility and good manners.
Duties are all child related: general care for the child and the child’s belongings, child’s laundry (wash and iron), tidying up, inventory of baby supplies, meals for the baby, etc.
Requirements: • Have at least 5 years of recent experience with infants and toddlers • Have long term experience, verifiable references and stellar recommendations • Be TDAP, Flu and COVID vaccinated and boosted • CPR and First Aid Certified • Be comfortable with pets – cat • Ability and flexibility to travel – domestic and international
