Part-Time Housekeeper needed in Woodstock, NY

Schedule: 2 days per week when the principal is in residence; 1 day per week when out of residence. Approximately 4 hours, with one deep-clean day per week.

Compensation: $40/hour, on payroll

A private residence in Woodstock, NY is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment. The ideal candidate will have a kind and professional demeanor, respect for household boundaries, and experience working in fine homes.

Responsibilities include:

• General cleaning, tidying, and home maintenance of a 3,200 sq. ft. property

• Changing linens and making beds to a high standard

• Performing laundry and occasional ironing

• Organizing closets, pantries, and storage areas

• Performing a weekly deep clean

• Light meal preparation or simple cooking for the principal when requested

• Maintaining household supplies 

Ideal Candidate:

• Prior experience as a private housekeeper in a high-standard residence

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Discretion, professionalism, and ability to maintain boundaries within a private household

• Trustworthy, punctual, and reliable

• Comfortable preparing simple, home-style meals

Requirements:

•          Minimum of 5 years’ experience as sole charge executive housekeeper and/or property caretaker

•          Stellar references from prior long-term employment

•          Authorized to work in the U.S.

•          Comfortable going through an extensive background check

•          Must drive and have a reliable vehicle to get to work

•          Local to Upstate NY area or lives nearby
