A formal and fully staffed home is looking for a Nanny to join their team of nannies. The ideal candidate is highly energetic, active and has a passion for creating a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for children. Someone who is active, sporty (winter and water sports), fun, energetic and engaging. A self-starter who can motivate the kids and able to do activities alongside them. Be experienced with preteen age children, a fast thinker who can offer various games, crafts, and stories at any given moment. Has a natural rapport with kids and be able to maintain a sunny disposition and high energy throughout longer workdays. Adaptable and flexible, team player and gets along with everyone.
Duties are primarily caring for two pre-teen age children and all children related tasks – calendar coordination and management, cooking and preparing meals, tidying up, kids’ laundry, packing and unpacking for travels, driving and light errands.
REQUIREMENTS:
Legal to work in the US.
At least 5 years of long-term experience working with pre-teens.
Experience in formal and fully staffed homes with verifiable references and stellar recommendations.
Excellent English communication skills - speaking and writing
Drives with clean record.
A good swimmer
Comfortable to undergo extensive background check.
NYC savvy, local to NYC and/or lives nearby.
