Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours a week, 24/7 coverage between the couple, with alternating days off and vacation time
Salary: $208,000 per year ($50/hour combined) plus benefits
Accommodation: Private live-in suite in the basement with separate garage entry
Position Overview:
A private family is seeking an experienced and service-oriented domestic couple to live on-site and manage the daily operations of their upscale townhouse in Downtown Manhattan. The home is semi-formal yet relaxed, and the family values professionalism, discretion, and a warm, dog-loving attitude. The couple will work together to ensure the home is well-maintained, meals are prepared, errands are handled, and the family’s lifestyle is supported with care and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Provide safe and reliable transportation for the family
Run errands, manage online shopping, and coordinate with vendors
Assist with general upkeep and organization of the home
Travel with the family to the Hamptons during summer months
Light pet care for a small dog
Perform high-level cleaning and organization across all floors
Prepare meals and provide food service in a presentable manner
Grocery shopping and kitchen inventory management
Care for a small dog and assist with pet-related tasks
Key Qualifications:
Prior experience working as a domestic couple in high-end homes
One member must be a confident and licensed driver
Excellent housekeeping, cooking, and organizational skills
Energetic, active, and service-oriented demeanor
Must love dogs and be comfortable with pet care
Ability to work independently and as a team
Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and needs
Positive, proactive, and adaptable
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in luxury homes
• Stellar references from prior long-term employment
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Comfortable going through an extensive background check
