Compensation: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications; plus OT, $120 per each overnight stay, Health Insurance, 401K, etc.
Schedule: Five days a week, 45+ hours a week. The position requires heavy flexibility in schedule and for overtime hours, and eventual overnight stay as needed.
The duties include but are not limited to:
The Housekeeper is responsible for the daily cleaning and maintaining the general appearance of the residence.
Hands-on Housekeeping duties, in absence of other staff
• Maintain overall cleanliness: vacuuming, dusting, mopping, polishing, sanitizing
• Perform museum-quality care of surfaces, furnishings, and decorative items
• Manage waste disposal and recycling
• Deep clean and organize kitchen, including appliances and storage areas
• Wash, dry, and store all dishware and cookware
• Care for fine garments: laundry, ironing, stain removal, seasonal wardrobe rotation
• Organize closets, cabinets, and personal spaces for accessibility and neatness
• Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas to high standards
• Make beds and change linens per schedule
• Care for children’s rooms and toys
• Provide light childcare support as requested
• Prepare light meals, snacks, and beverages
• Set and serve dinner table when needed
• Greet and assist guests, visitors, and contractors
• Handle mail, deliveries, and special requests
• Pack/unpack family luggage for travel
• Assist with children in absence of primary childcare provider
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Extensive experience in similar roles within high-end, fully staffed homes
• Strong references demonstrating reliability and longevity in previous positions
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Comfortable assisting with light house management tasks
• Able to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in luxury homes
• Stellar references from prior long-term employment
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Comfortable going through an extensive background check
