Housekeeper/Nanny needed to join a very private and Formal, Fully Staffed Home in the Upper East Side Real blend between childcare and housekeeping being very important (i.e. someone who is a hard worker and willing to jump in on any task).
Compensation: 100K range with Full health benefits, 401K, paid vacation & Personal Sick Leave.
Schedule would be as follows: • Tuesday – Start at 10 am, sleep over until Wednesday until 8 pm • Thursday – Start at 10 am until 8 pm • Friday – Start at 10 am until 8 pm • Saturday – Start at 10 am, sleep over until Sunday – Out at 10 am
Responsibilities Include: • Nanny - Attending to all the children's needs, including meals, laundry, oversee homework, playdates. • Housekeeper - When not attending to the children, responsibilities include: helping around the house, organizing, cleaning, cooking and meal preparation, clearing tables, taking out the trash, keeping their space tidy - bedroom, washroom, drawers, laundry, ironing and running small errands if needed.
General Skills Requirements: • Must have at least 5 years of long term experience working as a nanny/housekeeper in fine homes. • Knowledge of cleaning products and their application and caring for fine garments. • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written • Able to prepare simple meals • Proactive and flexible to work outside of strict job description parameters, thinking creatively about how to provide highest quality of service • Planning and organizational skills for closets, cabinets and other storage spaces. • Time management – Prioritize tasks and complete chores in a timely manner. • Problem solving skills for productive and time efficient completion of duties.
