Housekeeper/Laundress needed in Upper Westside of Manhattan, NY

Salary: $40–$50/hour + Health Stipend + 2 Weeks PTO

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Flexibility Required)

Live-In Required: Only for the last 3 weeks of August (in the Hamptons)

A busy family in the Upper West Side is seeking a dedicated, meticulous, and experienced full-time live-out Housekeeper/Launderer to care for their multi-level apartment. The ideal candidate will have long-term experience in similar roles, a strong attention to detail, and deep knowledge of caring for fine furnishings, delicate fabrics, and high-end wardrobe items.

Responsibilities:

    •    Detailed daily cleaning of a multi-level home, including stairs

    •    Expert-level care of laundry, ironing, and closet organization

    •    Special handling of fine garments and delicate fabrics

    •    Care and upkeep of fine furnishings and finishes

    •    Collaborating with the household team, including a full-time nanny

    •    Maintaining a quiet, professional, and respectful presence in a busy home

Ideal candidate:

    •    Expertise in laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care

    •    Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness

    •    High energy and comfort with stairs and active household environment

    •    Professional, discreet, and not overly chatty

    •    Comfort working around school-aged children (though no childcare is required)

    •    Flexibility for occasional scheduling needs, especially during travel

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a housekeeper/laundress in a high-end home

• Stellar references from prior long-term employment

• Must be local to NYC

• Comfortable around young children (no childcare required)

• Discreet, detail-oriented, and highly organized

• Legal to work in the U.S.

• Comfortable going through an extensive background check
