Compensation

• $35–$45 per hour on payroll, depending on experience plus Full benefits package

Schedule

• 5 days per week, Full flexibility required

• Combination of live‑in and live‑out depending on parents' schedule plus domestic and international travel

• Accommodation available when live‑in is required

Overview

A fully staffed, warm, kind and supportive household in Great Neck, NY is seeking an energetic, compassionate Caregiver/Companion to assist a young adult man with moderately functional autism. The home centers on ensuring his comfort, safety, and wellbeing at home and during travel. Looking for someone who is able to integrate smoothly into a team‑oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, supervision, and positive daily engagement

• Support routines, structure, and skill‑building

• Assist with light tasks related to his care (organization, simple meal prep, etc.)

• Accompany him during outings, appointments, and recreational activities

• Travel with the family domestically and internationally, staying with and supervising him when parents are away

• Maintain clear communication with parents and household staff

• Foster a calm, patient, and encouraging environment

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role

• Fluent in English with strong communication skills

• Excellent, verifiable references

• Eligible to work in the U.S.

• Willing to undergo a comprehensive background check
