Schedule: 5 days a week, 12:00 PM - 8:00/9:00 PM, including weekends, and travel to the Hamptons
Location: Upper East Side, Manhattan (Primary Residence), Summer in The Hamptons
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Executive Housekeeper / Butler to join our team in a formal, fully staffed home. This hybrid role requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for providing outstanding service. The successful candidate will manage household cleaning and maintenance while also fulfilling butler responsibilities to ensure a seamless and luxurious experience for the family and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Housekeeping Duties:
Oversee and manage all aspects of household cleaning and maintenance
Ensure all rooms are clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team
Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and household items
Launder and care for fine linens and delicate fabrics
Handle special cleaning requests and projects
Butler Duties:
Provide personalized service to the family and guests, including packing and unpacking luggage, garment care, and wardrobe management
Serve meals and beverages, ensuring impeccable service standards
Assist with the planning and execution of events and gatherings
Handle household errands and shopping as needed
Manage household schedules and coordinate with other staff members
Ensure security and privacy of the household
Maintain an inventory of wines, spirits, and other beverages
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper, Butler, or in a similar combined role
At least 10 years of long-term experience working in ultra high-end homes
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other household staff
Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to changing schedules
Knowledge of fine wines, spirits, and formal service protocols
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress dynamic environment
Verifiable excellent references and recommendations
Discretion and a high level of professionalism
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to The Hamptons for the summer season
Compensation:
$50-$75 per hour, plus overtime and overnight rate, depending on experience and qualifications
