Full-Time Nanny needed in Downtown Manhattan, NY

Candidates who are currently in school but can commit to 2 years is highly encouraged to apply!
Compensation and Benefits:
$35-45 per hour, OT after 40 hours, on payroll
2 weeks paid vacation, 5 paid sick days, Major Holidays off with pay, monthly MetroCard and potential contribution towards Health Insurance
Schedule:
IDEAL: Live-in Monday to Friday
Nanny’s typical daily schedule: 6am to 8:30/9am, then 3pm-8/8:30 pm
Ideally, nanny should arrive on Sunday night for an early Monday am start
regular weekend work is available if nanny wants more hours (sat and sun 8am-8pm)
OPTION 2
Live-out, Monday to Friday, 3pm-8/8:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday from 8am -8pm, with occasional sleepover
Plus, the family travels (domestic) during school breaks, plus 4-5 weeks in the Summer is spent in Europe. (except for Summer 2025) and requires the nanny to travel with them.
Looking for a highly energetic live-in nanny for a busy and very active family to work alongside a very hands-on mom and caring primarily for two very active, curious and very smart two preschool age children, and occasionally supervising the teen age child.
Ideal nanny has experience caring for similar aged children, active, engaging, and can contribute to the children’s developmental growth and education. Someone can provide fun and educational activities and can make the kids downtime a productive one. Someone who has background early childhood education, child psychology or teaching, social work, or a career nanny who is UpToDate with child development. Someone dedicated, genuinely loves children, kind, patient, and nurturing is the best personality fit for the family.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience as a nanny
• With verifiable and excellent recommendations
• Local to NYC or someone who drives (garage available)
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
• US or EU Passport for European travel is highly preferred
• Comfortable going through an extensive background check
